The PQG prize for QPs, 2006
Congratulations to Clare Richer of AstraZeneca who was awarded the 2006 PQG Prize during the Seminar for Trainee and Recently Qualified QPs on 5th June.
The PQG Prize is awarded each year to a student who has successfully completed the PGDip/MSc in Industrial Pharmaceutical Studies at University of Brighton. This course is designed to satisfy the educational requirements of the Joint Study Guide prepared by the EU-approved professional bodies responsible for designating Qualified Person eligibility.
The course attracts industrial pharmaceutical biologists, chemists and technologists from across Europe. Clare's performance throughout the course was considered outstanding by the course tutors.
The course leader, Dr Roy Daisley presented Clare with a certificate and cheque for £350. Clare attained her QP status in July 2006 following completion of the Brighton course in June. We wish her well in her career as as Qualified Person.
