Structure
Quality Management MSc is a part-time Executive programme ideally structured to enable professionals to remain in employment whilst studying to advance their careers.
The programme comprises eight assessed taught modules (delivered by Cranfield’s leading academics and industry experts), an integrating portfolio and an individual project. The modular nature of the programme allows students a degree of flexibility in the number and order of modules completed each year, and the individual project is usually undertaken in the students’ place of work.
Quality Management MSc can also be studied at Diploma and Certificate level. In addition some modules can be attended as stand-alone three-day short courses.
Start dates
There are four intakes each year and the programme take two-three years to complete. Remaining start dates in 2012 are in July, October and December.

Quality Management MSc Graduate testimonial
After 20 years working in the IT industry I made a career change five years ago to move into the Quality and Compliance area of a large pharmaceutical company. I moved from a solid understanding and wide exposure of my field of expertise to being a new recruit with experience of only one company. I decided to study Quality Management to gain a broader knowledge and to underpin my growing experience and learning with a respected qualification.
The course has already enabled me to develop a much wider view of the area I work in. I have a much better understanding of why activities are performed, what the overall goal is and am able to advise and make more informed decisions.
The structure of the course is practical. The regular three day taught modules, keep you on track and in regular contact with your fellow students. The fact that the University is postgraduate only is very attractive and the system to support off-site students is well established.
